At the end of the semester I have learned a lot of useful things in this class. For example how to use WordPress, creative commons, prezi, slideshare, bit.ly, delicious and how to use excel and power point. Each one of them are very useful to me and I plan to continue to use them in the future. To this date I have made 12 posts in WordPress. WordPress is an interesting site because you can express yourself and talk about what you like. I didn't make a lot of posts because I did not have a lot of time, and didn't know a lot about  the site but I did manage to make some posts. My favorites sites were prezi, delicious, bit.ly and slideshare. I did manage to save 165 bookmarks in delicious. With prezi I only made one presentations but I plan on making more in the future because it's a fun and easier to view for presentations. Bit.ly because when you have to write the direction of sites and it's too big you can shorten it. I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot of useful material for my next classes or for work.

Changes in Gadgets

We are in the 21 century and they have been a lot of changes in gadgets and technology. Each one of them has been made to simply the need of every people. Based on the article of yahoo they make a list of 7 articles that wont be around in 2020. They talk about dvd players, digital cameras, recordable cds and dvds and others. In my opinion people have been using less of them each day. Because they are other ways to use them. They also are more easy to use, buy and share. For example now a days there are phones that include video player, camera, internet music player, GPS, games ect. You can have it all in only one place, and at the same time its more easy to carry and share with friends. If we look back people used to hear music in cd players, portable radios a few years ago and they could only hear a specific artist depending on the cd they had. Now a days you can hear music in iPods, ipads, and even in your phone, and you can have a large variety of artist that you like. I think that these changes are good because it makes it more easy and fun to enjoy everything that we like or need.

Gracias a la clase de informatica 103, he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas y utliles para mi diario vivir y mis clases de la universidad. Tales como google reader, google docs , bitly, delicious, slideshare, join.me, prezi , wordpress entre otros. Todos me han ayudado de gran manera y son bien interesantes y faciles de ultilizar. Son herramientas que necesitaba pero no sabia de ellas. Por ejemplo con delicious, tengo hasta ahora 30 bookmarks en mi cuenta. Antes se me hacia dificil guardar los bookmark , ya que me los enviaba por email o los escribia en un papel y no lo tenia organizado. Ahora con delicious si los puedo tener todos juntos, organizados y los puedo compartir. Mi meta es buscar todos los de mi email y entrarlos a mi cuenta de delicious. Otro ejemplo seria aqui en wordpress, nunca lo habia usado. Todavia estoy aprendiendo de el ya que no lo se usar completamente bien, pero me parece bien interesante. Tengo hasta ahora 9 posts con 6 de la clase de informatica. La clase ha sido de buena ayuda y las herramientas que se ultilizan tambien. Seguire aprendiendo sobre cada una de ellas para tenerlas como recurso y ayuda para mi futuro.

Estas son algunas de las fotos en la expocición de Manuel Rodriguez Delgado titulada concerniente a metodos de propulsion. Demostradas en la Galeria de Arte de la Universidad del Sagrado Corazon. El creador de esta expocicion ha tenido varios logros en su carrera donde ha demostrado su sus diferentes expociciones y logros que ha hecho. E es una de sus expociciones en el 2011 , basada en la historia del arte, la aviacion y la fisica. El lo demuestra en una manera diferente y pecular , a su propio estilo. Como el Manuel dice ” esta muestra concierne ilusion y distante promesa de fracaso , a traves de maquinas voladora , cuyos metodos de propulsión podrian parecer absurdos , son en otras palabras, conjeturas que entre la esperanza y la duda posibemente son capaces de rodar entre el aire”. Todas las obras fueron creadas con papel de arroz, carton y aluminio y las piezas inéditas son maquinas voladoras con sistemas de propulsión contraproducentes y configuraciones absurdas. El periodico Conboca hizo un reportaje basado en la expocion hecho por Sabrina Ramos y en la revista daWire hecho por Carla Acevedo-Yates pasados en esta expocición.

Is It good for babies to watch TV?

Based on the study made by Marie Evans Schmidt about tv for babies, it is not good for the babies under 2 to learn from tv programs. It is more difficult and slower to improve their learning skills. she also says that they are some other factors that influence on “the baby’s brain development”. In my opinion I think that it is ok for babies to watch tv but as everything it has its limitations. It is not ok for them to watch the whole day, they can have a limit of time based on their age. It is better for them to learn with practice, for example having the parents talk with them, making activities, games, and others. Because that way the babies can practice for themselves and improve their learning and at that age babies learn by imitating the people they have around them. We live in a time that technology is a big part in our lives, but we should not depend completely on it. Babies should have a balanced education from parents and the new advantages of technology. Everything should be to improve their learning skills because at that age is when they start learning about everything.

In this PowerPoint presentation you can se different photos of some beaches that I would love to visit. This is a few of them but there are many beautiful places with beaches and each one has their own unique characteristics. I can’t put them all because it would be a very large presentation. Each slide has a different title, the tittle represents the things i like to do in the beach and ocean.

This is a song by Daniele Silvestri called Le Cose In Comune. I learned about this song in my italian learning class. the song is about all the things in common with the person you like. but Daniele describes it in a peculiar saying all the thing they like in common like the music but also saying ” we have two arms, two hands, two feet, one brain”. In the end the song says that since they have all those thing in common why don’t they get together and be the perfect couple. I found this song very cute, funny and very original the way he describes all the thing they have in common.Uploaded by alexdazio on Sep 13, 2007

Drive-In Theaters

This is a presentation that I’ve made about the Drive-In Movie Theaters using prezi.com. this was my first time using this form for the presentations and i personally loved it. Prezi makes it a great fun,interesting,different and easy way to make presentations.I used the Drive-In theme because I find it very interesting and a fun experience. some people say they prefer going to the movie theater instead of the Drive-In because they find it uncomfortable. There are also new technology advances in the movie making and viewing. in my opinion, i think it’s because this is a different time and generation. by the time that the drive-in started was it a great hit. ive never been to the Drive-In , but im planning to go in the near future.
